Most SaaS products were built to solve one problem really well. Analytics was supposed to come later. It still hasn't.
We started Toucan in 2014 because we kept seeing the same pattern: product teams knew their customers needed data, but building analytics in-house meant months of roadmap debt, a dedicated team, and a result that still looked like an afterthought. There had to be a better way.
So we built one. An embedded analytics platform designed specifically for ISVs and SaaS companies, where multi-tenancy, white-labeling, and customer-facing UX are not add-ons. They are the foundation.

Our story
March 2014
Kilian Bazin, Charles Miglietti, Baptiste Jourdan, and David Nowinsky found Toucan in Paris. The idea: make data accessible to non-experts, directly inside the tools they use every day.
2019
First funding round. €12 million raised with Balderton Capital. The embedded analytics product takes shape.
2022
Toucan 3.0 launches. The no-code builder becomes the standard for non-technical product teams.
